Returned merchandise will be accepted for credit only if in sealed, resalable
condition and in original packaging. All returns must have an authorization
number (RA) and call tag issued by Blind industries and Services of Maryland
(BISM). It will be valid for thirty days from date of issue. In requesting
authorization to return merchandise, the customer must provide the invoice or
transaction number and date of purchase to insure prompt handling. BISM assumes
no obligation to accept merchandise for credit after thirty (30) days from date
of invoice. All returns not the result of an error by BISM will be at the
customer’s expense. Credit will not be issued to customer until merchandise is
received back by BISM.
Product shipped in error or damaged, upon notification by the customer, BISM
will ship the correct or replacement merchandise with next day delivery
priority and BISM will accept the freight charges. Please call for RA number
and call tags for any products returned. The customer is asked to return the
product with the call tag affixed to the package utilizing United Parcel
Service (UPS). If the return is a non-UPSable item, an appointment will be
scheduled to pickup item via Common Carrier. The customer will be credited upon
receipt of the returned merchandise.
Resolution of any unresolved dispute for any replacement or return product will
be referred to the eCommerce Department for resolution.
